As the season winds down, we still have 3 swimmers planning to swim. Greg Maitinsky's Lake Ontario plans were foiled by high winds and currents last week. He hopes to go in September. Lev Goldberg is hoping to swim Lake Ontario this week.
With global warming, late July is now warm enough to swim and is a much less windy and stormy time to plan a swim than late August in Ontario.
Last but not least, Bryan Huffman is currently heading to the west end of Lake Superior to swim from Two Harbors, MN to Port Wing, WI. Looks like Tuesday might be the best day.
